By creating an account or using TotalFooty you agree to these terms. You confirm you are at least 16 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) and that the details you provide are accurate. If you take part on behalf of a club or group, you confirm you are entitled to do so.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Keep your contact details current so you receive game, payment and cancellation notifications. Do not impersonate anyone or create accounts to evade a restriction or ban.
TotalFooty exists to support grassroots football. You agree to:
When you join a paid game you agree to pay the stated fee. Refunds and cancellation deadlines are set by each organiser or club and are shown to you before you confirm and on the cancellation screen — including any cut-off time before kick-off after which a place becomes non-refundable, and whether refunds stop once teams have been selected. Free credits, where granted, may be applied to eligible games. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
Some games are run by clubs and groups ("operators") on TotalFooty. Where you pay for an operator's game, your payment may be collected by TotalFooty on that operator's behalf and settled with them, or collected by the operator directly — the game page reflects how each game is paid. An operator may also fund credit on your account ("club credit"): club credit can only be spent on that operator's games, is settled between TotalFooty and the operator, and is not exchangeable for cash. If a game paid with club credit is cancelled or you withdraw in time, that portion is returned to you as club credit.
TotalFooty records appearances, results, ratings, awards and player feedback to run leagues, team selection and recognition features. Ratings and peer feedback are intended to be constructive; coordinated or malicious use may result in action on your account.
We process your personal data to operate the service — managing games, payments, communications and the features above. We do not sell your personal data. You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Our privacy policy accompanies these terms.
Football carries inherent physical risk and you take part at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to play and for any equipment you use. To the extent permitted by law, TotalFooty and the organisers using it are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation, except where caused by their negligence. Report any injuries or safety concerns to your organiser.
Organisers and TotalFooty may restrict, suspend or remove access where these terms are broken — for example repeated no-shows, non-payment, or abusive behaviour. Where money is owed to you at the point of removal, it remains payable subject to the applicable refund rules.
We may update these terms. When we do, you will be asked to review and accept the new version before continuing to use TotalFooty. Continued use after acceptance means you agree to the updated terms.
